Allie “Babe” LeBlanc Theriot, age 94, a native of Grand Bayou, LA, and resident of Pierre Part, LA, entered into eternal rest and was reunited with her beloved husband, Eno Theriot, on Monday, November 10, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Babe was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was a devoted Catholic and parishioner of St. Joseph the Worker Church and deeply cherished her faith. She greatly enjoyed shopping and spending time working in her yard cutting her grass and tending to her flowers, but her greatest joy was visiting with her great and great-great grandchildren.
Babe was an example of courage and faith to all who knew her. Widowed at the age of 46, she leaned on her faith while raising her family. She wore the pages of her many prayer books thin, said countless rosaries and novenas, and never wavered in keeping the memory of her husband alive over the past 48 years. She was an adorer of the Blessed Sacrament for many years and kept a Holy Hour every Thursday at 11 a.m. until she was no longer able.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her six children, Gordon Theriot (Judy), Debbie Himel (Avery), Donna Pipsair (Joey), Dale Theriot (Lisa), Lisa LeBlanc (Nathan) and Tammy Boudreaux (Kenny); seven grandchildren, Dusty Landry (Ted), Joey Theriot (Erin), Amy Aucoin (Paul), Grant Pipsair (Sarah), Jordan Pipsair (Paige), Dale “DJ” Theriot, Jr. (Emily) and Guy Theriot (Candice); fifteen great grandchildren, Haylie (Ryan), Hagen (Kalyn), Allie, Jacob, Breanna (Josh), Mia, Brien, Abigail, Tate, Annie, Jack, Carter, Sarah, Braxton, and Spencer Grace; and five great-great grandchildren, Jayen, Averi, Cyrus, Grace and baby Lane Stephen, due in February; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Babe was preceded in death by her husband, Eno Theriot; parents, Nicholas and Marie LeBlanc; sisters, Lydia Albarado, Louise Charlet Rodrigue, Elise Gauthe’, Mary Hidalgo, and her twin sister, Alice “Tut” Breaux; brothers, Eddie (infant), Oneil, August and James LeBlanc.
A visitation will be held at Ourso Funeral Home in Pierre Part, LA, on Saturday, November 15, from 8AM until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30AM at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church with Fr. Al Davidson officiating. Burial to follow in the church cemetery.
The family would like to offer sincere thanks and appreciation to Fr. Al Davidson, Dr. Glenn Schexnayder and his staff, especially Terry and Jessica, and the staff of Cardinal Hospice, especially Callie, Katina, Tashia, Ken, Rose, and chaplain, Mr. Jim.
