Angeline LaCoste Blanchard, 81, a native and resident of Belle River, LA, passed away on Wednesday, April 14, 2021. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend. Angeline enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, bird watching, decorating, and flowers. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her seven children, Raphael Blanchard, Willie Blanchard (Kathy), Lynn Blanchard (Sally), Mary Toups (Steve), Darren Blanchard (Melanie), Steven “Pete” Blanchard (Shana), and Octave “O.J.” Blanchard (Adia); twenty one grandchildren; twenty four great grandchildren; two sisters, Elsie Martin and Edna Giroir; numerous nieces and nephews, and her beloved cat Memo. She is preceded in death by her husband Willie Blanchard; one daughter, Madelyn Blanchard; parents, Wilbert and Nellie Gauthreaux LaCoste; two brothers, Nolan LaCoste and Autry Lacoste Sr. and two sisters, Margaret Mayon and IvyMae Hebert. Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at Ourso Funeral Home in Pierre Part from 8:30am until Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church at 11am. Burial to follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery.

So sorry to hear about your mom. She was such a sweet lady. She raised a fine group of children. She loved her family to the moon and back. She knew they were always ready to help her anyway they could. She will be missed by all who knew her. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.🙏❤️
