She had a deep love for the outdoors and cherished her time spent at camp, especially when she could enjoy her favorite pastime, fishing. Beatrice also found joy in trips to the casino and lively games of bingo.
Above all, her most treasured moments were those shared with her family, particularly her beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren, who brought her endless pride and happiness.
After several years working in the deli at Stazione in Pierre Part, known for her warm smile and kind heart, she built lasting friendships with both coworkers and customers. Though she may no longer be behind the counter, her legacy lives on in the form of her beloved treat — Mrs. Dee’s Sugar Cookies.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her two sons, Joseph Grandin Jr. (Angela) and Dwayne Grandin (Edna); three grandchildren, Jason Grandin (Kelly), Amber Landry and Angel Grandin (Nelson “Neg”); her six great grandchildren, Cole Naylor, Chloe Grandin, Samuel Grandin, Natalie Grandin, Brayden Metrejean and Ryder Metrejean and her daughter-in-law, Mona Grandin.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Grandin Sr.; one son, Bryan Grandin; parents, Everette and Lucille Russo Lasseigne and her two sisters, Pricilla Daigle and Kathleen Bergeron.
The family would like to thank Dr. Scott Hebert at the Thibodaux Cancer Center for his care and support throughout their time of need and the entire staff at AMG Specialty Hospital in Houma, LA.
No services will be honored per Dee’s request.
