Bernie Joseph Metrejean

Bernie was a loving father, son, brother, grandfather, uncle, cousin, and friend who touched the lives of many. He had a deep passion for the outdoors and especially enjoyed spending time fishing. Above all, Bernie cherished his family, and his greatest joy came from the time they shared together. His love, kindness, and the memories he created with those he loved will be treasured always.

He is survived by his mother, Barbara Guillot; one sister, Melinda Hymel (Johnny); grandmother, Dolores Guillot; four children, Misty Metrejean Miller, Bernie Metrejean Jr., Brice Metrejean and Emily Metrejean; four grandchildren, Noah Medford, Jacob Miller, Claire Metrejean and Maverick Metrejean.

He is preceded in death by his father, Gregory Guillot and grandparents.

A visitation will be held at Ourso Funeral Home in Pierre Part, LA, on Saturday, July 25, 2026, from 9AM until Service at 1PM. Burial to follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Belle River.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Barbara or Melinda for funeral expenses.
