Billy Wayne Gautreau

Billy was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, cousin and friend. He enjoyed the outdoors especially fishing and squirrel hunting. Billy had a love for animals and always had a dog to love. Of all things, Billy's most cherished moments were spent with his family.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his two sons, Scott David Gautreau (Heidi) and Paul Wade Gautreau (Billie); thirteen grandchildren, Leslie Anderson (Jordan), Tad Gautreau (Kate), Harley Britt (Dylan), Beau Gautreau , Tahlia Hidalgo (Corey), Stephanie Gautreau , Scotti Gautreau, Justin Gautreau, Matthew Gautreau (Tehmina) , Jarrett Gautreau (Jessica), Nicholas Gautreau (Laura), Rayelyn Domingue and Dexter Domingue; twelve great grandchildren, Jayden Gautreau, Sarah Rivere, Korynn Britt, Stevie Rae Britt, Cade Hue, Kobe Gautreau, Vayda Gautreau, Jolie Gautreau, Blakely Fuselier, Easton Delatte, Adalynn Domingue and Annie Domingue and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Pamella Gautreau; one son Steven “Stevie” Gautreau (Yvette); parents, Welmon and Ruth Gautreau and five siblings, Betty, Robert “Bob”, Turry, Faye and Marlene.

The family would like to thank Dr. Eric Gravois and St. Joseph Hospice for their care and support throughout their time of need.

A visitation will be held at Ourso Funeral Home in Pierre Part on Friday, May 2, 2025, from 9am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11am at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church with interment to follow in the church mausoleum.
