

Charles Joseph Mabile, 64, a loving husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on February 23, 2012. He served for 37 years in Assumption Parish Sheriff Office. He served as Captain before retiring. His intense family oriented character was witnesses through his close knit family; not only his wife and daughters but through his siblings and in laws. His service to his community was his zest for life. He was the most content when he was helping others. Those who had the privilege of knowing him were well aware if they needed something they knew who to call. For all of his love and generous service he will be immensely missed.
He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Terry Newchurch Mabile; three daughters Stacy Landry and husband Joel; Suzette Esneault and husband Rene; and Sheri Garrison and husband Jamie; five grandchildren Katherine and Emily Landry, Alexis, Macy, and Sarah Jane Esneault; two grand dogs Shaggy and Edgar; mother Laura Mabile; two sisters Ann Lynn Landry and Edwina Morales; three brothers Donald Mabile, John Mabile, and Lonnie Mabile.
Preceded in death by his father Lazzin Mabile; brother Luke Mabile; and baby Esneault.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 26, 2012 at Ourso Funeral Home in Pierre Part from 5:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m. and Monday, February 27, 2012 from 8:00 a.m. – 10:45 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial to follow at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Pierre Part at 11:00 a.m. Entombment to follow in church mausoleum.
