Chris was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. He was a hardworking man who took great pride in his role as a Truck Driver for Halliburton, a position he held for several years. He genuinely enjoyed his work and had a passion for being on the road.
Chris was known for his selflessness and deep compassion, an exceptional caregiver who consistently put the needs of others before his own. Family was at the center of his life, and he cherished every moment spent with them, especially with his grandson, Kasen.
In his free time, Chris could often be found enjoying the simple pleasures of life. He loved fishing, listening to live music, dancing, cooking, baking, hunting, and traveling. These pastimes brought him joy and reflected his vibrant spirit and love for life.
Chris will be remembered for his generous heart, unwavering dedication, and the joy he brought to those around him. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife of thirty-eight years, Kathy Domingue Breaux; one daughter, Lauren Breaux Levron (Nicholas); one grandson, Kasen Levron; two sisters, Margie Crochet and Iris Comeaux (Roger) and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Cleveland and Vanes Hebert Breaux and his father and mother-in-law, Ivory Sr. and Alta Domingue.
The family would like to thank: Dr. Keith Landry and his staff, Cardinal Hospice and Ourso Funeral Home for their care and support throughout their time of need.
A visitation will be held at Ourso Funeral Home in Pierre Part, LA, on Friday, October 24, 2025, from 8:30am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11am at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church. Internet will follow in the church mausoleum.
