Derick Dwayne Domingue

Derick was a loving son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend.

He touched the lives of those who knew him with his kindness and generosity. A selfless soul with a heart full of love.

In his spare time, he found joy in the simple pleasures of life, playing pool, singing with passion, and casting a line while fishing was where he found peace. He also had a true gift for writing, expressing his thoughts and emotions with remarkable depth and creativity.

Derick's presence brought light to those around him, and his memory will continue to do the same.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving mother Darla Domingue; three siblings, Drake Domingue, Michelle Blain (JD) and Jessica Abshire; grandmother, Rita Blanchard; two godchildren, Kynnedi Domingue and Nevaeh Blake; five uncles, Brent Blanchard (Christy), Carol Domingue Jr. (Christine), Troy Domingue (Mary), Chad Domingue (Tosha), and Dwayne Domingue (DeAnna); one aunt, Ashley Domingue and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Carol Domingue Sr.; his godmother, Rhonda Domingue; father, Daniel Knowles Sr. and one brother, Daniel Knowles Jr.

A visitation will be held at Ourso Funeral Home in Pierre Part, LA, on Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 8am until Service at 12pm. Conducting the Service will be Pastor Gerald Daigle and Rev. Chasity Morales. Burial to follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery.
