Desire' "Peanut” Joseph Alleman Jr.
October 24, 1942 – April 10, 2018
Desire’ Joseph Alleman Jr., a native of Klotzville and resident of Pierre Part passed away on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at the age of 75. Desire’ retired from Dow Chemical after 35 years of service, he had served as President of the Assumption Parish Library Board and he had served in the National Guard. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, talking to people and was a gifted wood carver. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 49 years, Alia Carrier Alleman; one son, David Alleman (Kasey); one daughter, Ashlyn Falcon (Mitchell); three grandchildren, Riley, Elizabeth and Katelyn and one sister, Lucy A. Clelland. He is preceded in death by his parents, Desire’ Sr. and Elizabeth T. Alleman; one sister, Mary E. Barriente and one brother, Ray L. Alleman. Visitation will be held on Friday April 13, 2018 from 8:30am until 10:45am at Ourso Funeral Home in Pierre Part. Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11am at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church. Interment to follow in Church Mausoleum.
