He was a loving father, son, brother, pankey, nephew, and friend. Dustin had a passion for hunting, boat riding, fishing, music, playing darts, and doing carpenter work. He adored his children and always went above and beyond for them. Dustin was an amazing person who never met a stranger.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his two children, Cadon and Madison Coupel; parents, Roland and Marilyn Sanchez Coupel; one sister, Gwen Coupel Kern and husband, Coty; one niece Lily Coupel; one nephew, Kane Kern; mother of his children, Tressi Daigle Coupel; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins and special pet Daisy.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Bridget and Griffin Sanchez and paternal grandparents, Edgar Jr. and Neilda Coupel.
Pallbearers will be: Nelson Metrejean Jr., Mike Plaisance, Nesta Carbo, Brandon Boudreaux, Scotty Blanchard, Herb Morales, Matthew Boudreaux and Bryce Blanchard.
Visitation will be held at Ourso Funeral Home in Pierre Part, LA, on Sunday, August 1, 2021 from 5pm until 10pm and will resume on Monday, August 2, 2021 at 8am until Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church at 11am with interment to follow in the Sacred Heart Mausoleum in Belle River.
