Edmond Joseph Landry Jr.

Our beloved Husband and Father died after suffering various illnesses all his life. He died in his home surrounded by family and friends on Tuesday, June 7, 2011. He was a lifelong resident of Pierre Part, who served his country as a member of the U.S. Army, a member of the Local Union 198, and an avid sports fan. He will be sadly missed and loved forever.

Survived by his wife of 48 yrs Dianna Matherne Landry; four children and spouses Purnell and wife Som Yong Landry; Rachel and husband Wayde Himel, Stewart Landry and Kathleen Coleman, Chad and wife Shanna Landry; grandchildren Katie Scotty, Seth, Tyler, Makala, Brittany, Candice, Toni, Alex, Cade, Austin, Charlie, Zackary, Zoey, and Dylan; expecting a great-grandchild; three sisters and spouses Noelie and husband Roy Leblanc, Audrey and husband Winston Michel, and Diane and husband Paul Lakey; four brothers and spouses, Curtis Landry, Duffy and wife Myrtle Landry, Gervais and wife Valerie Landry, and Norris and wife Donna Landry.

Preceded in death by his parents Edmond Landry Sr. and Elidia Hebert Landry; four sisters Louise Hebert Blanchard, Odette Landry, Noaline Leblanc, and Emalie

Daigle ;two brothers Lawrence Van Alleman and Nick Landry; two brothers in law Carol Daigle and George Leblanc.

A memorial service will be held Friday, June 10, 2011 at his son’s residence 107 Oak Lane, Pierre Part, LA beginning at 11am.
