Elizabeth Leonard Templet

Elizabeth Leonard Templet, 83, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on Wednesday, August 24, 2011. She is survived by two daughters Emma Jane “Jeannie” Justilian and husband Ronnie, Marilyn Gonzales and husband Mike; three sons Agra Templet, Kirt Templet and wife Becky, and Jason Templet and wife Susan; 16 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; two sisters Mabel Simoneaux and Edwina Allemand; one brother Lennis Leonard; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Dudley “Chief” Templet and her parents Paul and Helena Leonard.

The family would like to thank the staff of Sugarmill Point and Haydel Hospice of Houma; her caregivers Lucy Miller and Peggy Frances; and family and friends for their prayers, love, and support during this time.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Alzheimer’s Association and St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 26, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. and Saturday, August 27, 2011from 8:00 a.m. – 10:45 a.m. at Ourso Funeral Home in Pierre Part. Mass of Christian Burial to follow at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow in church cemetery.
