
Everst J. Morales Sr., 94, a native and resident of Pierre Part, passed away at home on Saturday, January 14, 2012. He is survived by his three daughters Gerdie Campo of Plaquemine, Verlin and Nelson Landry of Donaldsonville, and Vera and Johnny Ruiz of Bayou Corne; six sons Iry and Diane Morales of Chackbay, E.J. and Karen Morales Jr. of Pierre Part, Ernest and Amy Morales of Mandeville, Lesley Morales of Thibodaux, Aubrey and Ginger Morales of Lafayette, and Danny and Ann Morales of Houston, TX; 24 grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren; sister Dorothy Lowden; two half sisters Irene Cassard and Mildred Rodrigue; and three half brothers Jimmy, Terry, and Michael Morales.
Preceded in death by his wife Anita Blanchard Morales; daughter Theresa Morales; grandson Kyle Simoneaux; daughter-in-law AnnaMae Morales; son-in-law Herman Campo; parents Frank Morales Sr. and Agnes Rodrigue; four sisters, two brothers; half sister; and three half brothers.
Pallbearers will be his grandsons.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 16, 2012 at Ourso Funeral Home in Pierre Part from 6:00 p.m. – 10:00p.m. resume on Tuesday, January 17, 2012 from 8:00 a.m. – 10:45 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial to follow at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Pierre Part at 11:00 a.m. Entombment to follow in church mausoleum.
