

Eves was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, cousin, and friend. He lived a life full of love and dedication to those around him. His passion for traveling was unmatched, he was always ready to go, explore, and make memories.
A hardworking man by nature, Eves continued to work diligently until he physically could no longer. He retired from Cosden as a Process Operator after many years of faithful service.
In his free time, Eves enjoyed the simple pleasures of life: spending quality time with family, taking trips to the casino, and crawfishing.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of sixty-nine years, Gertie Pintado Hebert; three sons, Greg Hebert (Terry), Dale Hebert (Debra) and Mark Hebert; five grandchildren, Ashley Broussard (Brett), Andrea Hebert, Abby Dupuy (Brett), Austin Hebert (Brandy) and Alex Hebert (Meghan) and eleven great grandchildren, Brantley, Brogan, Zane, Katie, Avery, Dawson, Tucker, Sawyer, Kaiden, Emberly and Lila.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Elmire Landry Hebert and his four siblings, Alden Hebert, Dalton Hebert, Doris Hebert and Anita Sedotal.
A visitation will be held at Ourso Funeral Home in Pierre Part, LA, on Monday, September 22, 2025, from 9:30am until Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church at 11am. Interment to follow in the mausoleum.
