Heddy Marie Landry, age 42, passed away on June 15, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family, leaving behind a legacy of faith, strength, and joy that will forever be remembered. Born on September 6, 1983, in Morgan City, Louisiana, Heddy was a lifelong resident of Pierre Part, Louisiana.
Heddy lived life to the fullest and found joy in the simple things. She loved singing, dancing—especially jitterbugging—watching wrestling, working out, and enjoying a Coke with exactly two cubes of ice. She adored her dog, whom she loved as her own child, and she never missed an opportunity to make someone smile.
Family meant everything to Heddy. She deeply loved her family and friends and was known for checking in on those she loved, making sure they knew they were always in her thoughts and prayers. Her greatest gift was her ability to make everyone feel loved, welcomed, and important.
Most importantly, Heddy loved God. Her faith carried her through every challenge life placed before her and gave her the strength to face each obstacle with courage, determination, and a smile. From the day she was born, life placed mountains in front of her, yet she climbed every one of them with grace, faith, and unwavering strength. She was a fighter, an inspiration, and a source of encouragement to everyone blessed to know her.
Those who knew Heddy will remember her joyful spirit, contagious laughter, and the way she celebrated life’s precious moments. While we grieve her absence, we find comfort in imagining her dancing once again with her dad, rocking baby Hunter, giving Austin a big hug, and reuniting with the many family members and friends who welcomed her home. Free from pain and limitations, she is singing, dancing, and rejoicing in the presence of the Lord.
She is survived by her loving mother, Gloria Landry; her sisters, Dawn Landry, Krissa Landry, and Mindy Boudreaux (Blake Boudreaux); Her Nanny, Andrea Doiron her godchildren, Haley Bertrand, Emryn Khole, Anthony and MacKenzie; her niece, Jessica Abshire; her great-niece, Lillian Boudreaux; her nephews, Peyton Boudreaux (Kaylee Boudreaux) and Brad Bertrand; her great-nephews, Aysen Dayne, Blake H.
