Hilda Marie Landry

Hilda Blanchard Landry, passed away on Sunday, December 26, 2021, at the age of 89. Born on February 7, 1932, she was a native and lifelong resident of Pierre Part, LA and loved cooking delicious meals for her family and friends and flower gardening.

Hilda is survived by and will be greatly missed by her sons, Rodney (Mary Anne) and Mark (Tamera); four grandchildren, Christina Boudreaux (Noah), Jamie Nakamoto (Chris), Amanda Jones (Patrick) and Matthew Landry; six great-grandchildren, Ava and Addisyn Boudreaux, Owen and Lila Nakamoto and Amelie and Alyse Jones; sister Dora Hebert (Gleason); sisters-in-law, Effie Landry, Therese Theriot, Bessie Leonard, Nobie Landry, Rosella Landry and brother-in-law Hayward Landry.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Abel and Louise Blanchard; her husband, Ines Landry; siblings, Haywood Blanchard (Lannie) and Margaret Acosta (Johnny); inlaws, Willie and Pauline Landry, Willie Landry, Jr., Aubrey Landry, Celine Vaughn (Bill), Lucy Mae Pipsair (John), Lou Anna Simoneaux (Jim), Elie Leonard and Weekless Theriot.

Pallbearers will be Rodney Landry, Mark Landry, Matthew Landry, Noah Boudreaux, Chris Nakamoto and Patrick Jones.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Ourso Funeral Home, Pierre Part from 9am - 11:15am. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:30am at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Mausoleum in Belle River.
