Kathy Marie Gaudet

Kathy B. Gaudet, 58, a native and resident of Pierre Part, passed away on Friday, April 28, 2017 after a short battle with lung cancer. Kathy was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to many. She was an avid fan of the New Orleans Pelicans and the Eagles. She is survived by her daughters, Nicole Boudreaux Castagnos (Brian) and Chelsea Gaudet Miles (Chris); former husband, Carl Gaudet;four grandchildren, Brynlee Boudreaux, Sara and Emily Castagnos and Adalyn Miles; one great-grandchild, Jayce Boudreaux; one sister, Judy Boudreaux Theriot (Gordon); two brothers, Kenny Boudreaux (Tammy) and Mark Boudreaux (Lena); special great nephew, Hagen Landry; numerous nieces and nephews; former mother-in-law Jane Gaudet; and her special four legged boys, Jake and Boi. She is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Milton and Edith Boudreaux and former father-in-law, Jimmy Gaudet. Pallbearers will be: Kenny Boudreaux, Mark Boudreaux, Brian Castagnos, Chris Miles, Mike Berthelot and Joey Theriot. Being the generous and unselfish person Kathy was, she requested to donate her eyes to someone in need. Visitation at Ourso Funeral Home, Pierre Part, on Tuesday, May 2,2017 from 5 pm to 9 pm and Wednesday, May 3, 2017 from 8 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church on Wednesday, May 3, 2017.
