Kirk D Bonadona

Kirk is survived by his wife of 38 years, Sheila Leonard Bonadona; mother, Vivian Bonadona; daughters and sons-in-law, Tresha Rivere and Cody, Linsey Landry and Chad and Heather Goetz and John, Jr.; sister, Sandra B. Johnson and Kennath; brother, Lance Bonadona and Andrea; 6 grandchildren, Owen Rivere, Levi Goetz, Race Landry, Sam David Rivere, Andre Goetz and Teegan Rivere (Kirk called his grandsons, “Grandman” and Teegan “My Little Sweetheart”); brother-in-law, Paul and Leeanna Leonard; nieces and nephew, Sophia (his Godchild), Heide, Cassie, Cleo and Tommy.

Kirk was preceded in death by his father, Salvador Sam Bonadona, Jr., grandparents, Salvador Sam and Sophie Bonadona, Sr. and Ulysses and Ozelia “TooToo” Templet.

Honored to be pallbearers will be, Lance Bonadona, Kennath Johnson, Paul Leonard, Cody Rivere, Chad Landry and John Goetz.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Tommy Lee Jones, III, Owen Rivere, Levi Goetz, Race Landry, Sam David Rivere, Andre Goetz and Miss Teegan Rivere.

Kirk had an unconditional love for his wife, daughters, grandchildren, parents, brother and sister. He enjoyed spending time in his garden or tending to his animals, BBQ ing for his family, listening to classic Rock n Roll, taking road trip that would include buying watermelons from road side farmers and bringing them home to share and spending time with his dog, Ruby. Kirk was known to celebrate his birthday for the whole month of August. And don’t forget that German Chocolate cake that he had.

Visitation will be at Ourso Funeral Home, Pierre Part on Thursday, June 16, 2022 from 6pm-9pm continuing on Friday, June 17, 2022 from 10:30am until 1:15pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1:30pm on Friday, June 17, 2022 at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, Pierre Part.
