Laura Blanchard Mabile, lifelong resident of Pierre Part, passed away on Tuesday, March 13, 2018, at her home. She was 99. She enjoyed Gardening, Cooking, and being with family.
She is survived by her daughters, Ann Landry (Harvey) and Edwina Morales (Wesley); sons, Donald Mabile (Molly), John Mabile (Kathy), and Lonnie Mabile (Frannie); daughters in law, Terrie Mabile and Josephine St. Germain (Floyd); brother, Louis Blanchard; grandchildren, Tori Troxclair (Randy), Harvey Landry Jr. (Jennie Mabile), Todd Landry, Kirk Mabile, Kris Mabile (Carrie), Kim Theriot (Kevin), Stacy Landry (Joel), Suzette Esneault (Rene’), Sheri Garrison (Jamie), Tasha Allen, Trina McPherson (Charlie), Luke Mabile, Nicole Pipsair (Jonathan), Terrance Mabile (Trista), Sandy Gantt (Edward), Shelly Morales (Kenneth), Tommy Mabile (Kristie), and Terrie Lynn Cavalier (Danny); great grandchildren, Kristen Landry, Colby Troxclair, Brandyn Landry (Kayla), Brooke Declouette, Sarah Mabile, Alyssa Rau (Mason), Bethany Landry, Joshua Landry (Shelby), Hailey Landry, Cayla Rhyne, Tyler Rhyne, Gracie Gantt, John Michael Theriot, Andrew Theriot, Danielle Cavalier, Conor Cavalier, Aaron Mabile (Kaitlyn), Grant Mabile, Grace Mabile, Angel Allen, Max Allen, Raeden McPherson, Eden McPherson, Avelyn McPherson, Rya McPherson, and Ryker McPherson, Alexis Esneault, Massey Esneault, Sarah Esneault, Katherine Rose Landry and Emily Landry; great great-grandchildren, Juniper Landry, Charles Ellis Rau, Beckham Declouette, and Walker Landry and special niece and caregiver Betty Mabile.Laura was preceded in death by her husband, Lazzin Joseph Mabile; sons, Luke James Mabile and Charles Joseph Mabile; parents, Gerville “Jack” and Sedona Daigle Blanchard; sisters, Edley Blanchard Chedotal, Lucy Blanchard, Nellie Blanchard, and Olivia Blanchard; brothers, Prosper Blanchard, Paul Blanchard, Clairville Blanchard, Shelby Blanchard, Alfred Blanchard, Nolbert Blanchard Sr., and Nolan Blanchard Sr.; and numerous nieces and nephews.The family would like to thank Father Al Davidson, Father Jeff Bayhi, St Joseph the Worker Choir, Dr. Keith Landry, Bayou Home Care of Pierre Part, Council of Aging, Cardinal Hospice, Home in Stead, Cathy St. Germain and Brittny Broussard.
Pallbearers will be: Todd Landry, Harvey Landry Jr., Terrance Mabile, Tommy Mabile, Kris Mabile, Kirk Mabile and Luke Mabile. Visitation will be at Ourso Funeral Home, Pierre Part on Saturday, March 17, 2018 from 7 am until 10:15 am. Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church at 10:30 am. Entombment to follow in the church mausoleum.
