Lizzie Daigle Landry

To our precious mother who will be sadly missed. She had a heart of gold and loved life. She loved to dance and loved to listen to music. She was a faithful Christian who loved to say her rosary daily. She loved nature, flowers, all animals, and especially humming birds. She touched anyone who met her. She always put others before herself. Her daughters were so blessed to have her as a mother.

We love you Mom.

She is survived by six daughters and sons-in-law June and Danny Castro, Sharon and Arnold Blanchard, Gail and Donald Blanchard, Brenda and Brady Sanchez, Pauline and Wayne Templet, and Wendy and Quinn Blank; two sisters Jeannette Landry and Flavia Sedatol; fifteen grandchildren Danny, Dana, Benjie, Natalie, Ashley, Tiffany, Chad, Lacey, Hope, Trey, Sheena, Channing, Summer, Brandon, and Shelbi; and fourteen great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by husband Davis Gerard Landry; Parents Cyril Daigle Sr.and Pauline Crochet Daigle; six brothers Cyril Daigle Jr., Richard Daigle Sr., Alphonse Daigle, Alger “Pip” Daigle, Lloyd Daigle, and James Daigle; three sisters Lucy Landry, Agnes Landry, and Josephine Daigle; and grandson Tory Paul Sanchez.

Pallbearers will be Arnold Blanchard, Chad Blanchard, Trey Sanchez, Danny Castro II, Channing Templet, Brandon Medine, and Benjie Castro.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at Ourso Funeral Home in Pierre Part from 9AM until 1:45PM.

Mass of Christian will follow visitation on Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at 2:00PM at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Pierre Part. Officiated by Rev. Paul Yi.

Burial will follow in White Castle Cemetery, White Castle, LA.

The family wishes a special thanks to the Pierre Part First Responders, Acadian Ambulance, Assumption Community Hospital, Thibodaux Regional Hospital, Bayou Home Health and their nurses; and especially Dr. Keely and Dr. Bell and all other family and friends for the prayers and support in their time of need.
