Lois Landry Mabile
July 20, 1937 – September 14, 2019
Lois Marie Landry Mabile, 82, a native and resident of Pierre Part, LA, passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2019. Lois was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, talking on the phone, planting flowers and sewing. Lois always made sure to let every one of her grandkids know that they were all her favorite. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her four children, Karl (Pamela) Mabile, Karen (Dallas) Hebert, Jessica (Gerald “Pachon”) Fryou and Glenda (Andrew) Metrejean; eight grandchildren, Heath, Laurie, Sherry, Kellie, Dwayne, Andrea, Jenea and Jesslyn; thirteen great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild, Baby Mabile; four brothers, Lloyd “Buddy” Landry, Newton “Butch” Landry, Glenn Landry and Michael Landry; one sister, Linda Breaux and her favorite cat Jenna. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Mabile and parents, Mitchel and Lucy Landry. Pallbearers will be, Karl Mabile, Dallas Hebert, Gerald Fryou, Andrew Metrejean, Heath Mabile and Dwayne Hebert and honorary pallbearers will be Glenn and Michael Landry. Visitation will be held at Ourso Funeral Home in Pierre Part on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 from 7:30am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Pierre Part. Burial to follow in the church cemetery.
