Marie Olivier

Marie Effie Olivier, 90, a loving wife and mother, died on Saturday, January 04, 2014. She loved visiting family members and friends, going camping, and fishing. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Marie is survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law Carrie Olivier and Thomas Mabile and Judy Olivier and Abner Rivere; two sons, James “Jimmy” Olivier and wife Lucy and Christopher Olivier and companion Delores Louviere; seven grandchildren, Paula Lorio, Lisa Theriot, Stacy Mabile, Patty Orgeron, Wendy McKlemurry, Jodie Rivere, and Christopher Olivier, Jr; 13 great grandchildren, Natalie and Nicholas Lorio, Bailey and Caroline Theriot, Courtney Mabile, Cory, Alex and Emily Orgeron, Ryleigh and John T. McKlemurry, Neil Sanchez, Ayden and Alysa Olivier; two great-great grandchildren, Parker and Kenley Boudreaux.

Preceded in death by her husband, Evans Olivier; parents, Paul and Alvila Aucoin; three grandchildren, James “T-Jim” Olivier, Neil C. Rivere, and Baby Mabile; one sister, Pauline Aucoin Olivier; and two brothers, Earnest Aucoin and Guilday Aucoin.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Pierre Part. Interment to follow in church mausoleum. Arrangements by Ourso Funeral Home in Pierre Part.

Pallbearers will be Stacy Mabile, Abner Rivere, James Olivier, Mattrew Oregeron, Aubrey Olivier, and John Mike McKlemurry.
