Michael Andrew “Andy” Duco, 47, passed from this earth to his heavenly home on June 15, 2014. Andy, born January 6, 1967, was from Pierre Part and lived in Gonzales. He was the owner of Duco’s Tinting.
Andy has always had a love of cars, actually anything with wheels, and music. As a little boy he was already taking the tires off of his big toy cars and putting them on the little toy cars. As a teenager, he loved listening to KISS, leading to much ear holding by his family. As an adult, Andy expanded his joys to fishing and four-wheelers. His greatest joy was his son, Nicolas.
Andy was well known for his tinting work. He began tinting in his 20’s and grew several businesses with his talent. He loved what he did and it was apparent in the awesome work that he did. Andy was a giving man and would help anyone he could.
Andy is survived by his son, Nicolas Anthony Duco of Denham Springs; parents, Lanny Anthony and Nancy Grasso Duco; sister and brother-in-law, Karl Louis and Missy Duco Theriot; niece and nephew, Mandy Frances Theriot and Kale Andrew Theriot; great-nephew, Hayes Anthony Hall; former wife and friend, Stefanie Lambert Duco Alsbury.
Andy was preceded in death by his grandparents, Andrew Anthony and Sue Bernard Duco, Michael Joseph and Mary Ann Reeves Grasso; great-nephew Carson William Hall.
