Morrison Paul LeBlanc

Morrison Paul LeBlanc, 75, a native of Pierre Part and resident of Belle River went to be with his heavenly father on Saturday, March 27, 2021. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend. He was a U.S. Army veteran, member of the American Legion and retired oilfield worker from Shell Oil Company. He was an avid musician and loved playing music at nursing homes in the area. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 50 years, Barbara Perera LeBlanc; sons, Chad (Lorrie) and Brandon LeBlanc (Darah); grandchildren, Jude, Aidan, and Sophia LeBlanc and Alayna Mason; three brothers, Mervin (Annie), Edmond (Pam), and A.J. LeBlanc; one sister, Betty Tullos; brothers-in-law Clyde and Bernie Perera Jr., sisters-in-law Claudette Shields (Brian) and Bernadette Powell (John) . He was preceded in death by his parents, George LeBlanc Sr., and Noeline Landry LeBlanc; two brothers, Martin LeBlanc and George LeBlanc Jr.; sister Alice LeBlanc and brother-in-law Ronald Tullos. The family would like to express our heartfelt appreciation for the caregivers who allowed our father to live out his life in the comfort of his home. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at Ourso Funeral Home in Pierre Part from 8:30am until 11:30am with a Graveside service to follow at the Sacred Heart Mausoleum in Belle River.

Ginger and I are sadden by Morris' passing. We had so very much enjoyed his visits to us and always in a happy mood.
We are late in seeing this but please know prayers are sent for comfort to his family and blessings to have known Morris.
