

He was a brother, uncle, Godfather, cousin, and friend who will be truly missed. He enjoyed attending Mardi Gras, gardening, cooking, but especially loved his family. He was a generous and kind person who had a heart of gold!
He is survived by his brother, Claude (Cheryl) Michel; five nieces, Tessie (Mac) Landry, Jennifer (Jeremy) Templet, Amanda (Clint) Hue, Holly Morales, and Hannah (Shane) Lopez; five great nieces. Ashley Landry, Ally Hue, Rylee Hue, Brooke Templet, and Jacie Morales; and five great nephews, Tyler Templet, Ryan Templet, Bryson Turner, Jaxson Turner, Cohen Lopez; and a special cousin, Barbara Blanchard.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Bernice and Eddie Michel; and brother, George Michel.
The pallbearers will be Claude Michel, Tate Hue, Henry Blanchard Jr., Alton Hue, Jr., Eric Hue, and Charles Hue.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2023 for 8:30 am at Ourso Funeral Home in Pierre Part with the Mass of Christian Burial to begin for 11:00 am at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church. Burial to follow in the church cemetery. Father Al Davidson will be officiating.
