“Tauntie” Phillis Ann Gaudet, a native of Napoleonville and lifelong resident of Pierre Part went to her eternal home on Saturday, November 10, 2018 surrounded by her family. She was born on August 14, 1958 as the eldest of five siblings. Phillis was a devoted Catholic who cherished her faith and her church community. She participated in numerous ministries for St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church. She was a member of the Jr. Catholic Daughters of America, a Eucharistic minister, religion teacher and worked for the church fair. Phillis enjoyed many activities and outings that kept her busy with family and friends. She lived to watch that next LSU game, plan that outing with her friends and family and the chance to spoil her nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and any other child who lovingly called her Tauntie. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her brothers, Gary and wife, Linda Gaudet, Kurt Gaudet and fiancé, Bonnie; sisters, Janet Gaudet and Janice and husband, Lloyd Blanchard Jr.; godchildren, Kurt Gaudet, Jared Alleman and Lloyd “Tripp” Blanchard III; nieces and nephews, Emily and husband, Tim Thomas, Lloyd “Tripp” Blanchard III and fiancé Justin, Greg and Etienne Gaudet; step niece, Laurie and husband, Christopher Hayes; step nephew, Jeremy Blanchard; great niece, Rylie and great step nieces and nephews, Peyton, Tyler, Kylie, Jayden and Kayden; uncle Henry Comeaux and aunts, Flavia Gaudet (godmother), Velma Gaudet and Judy Comeaux and numerous cousins and best friends who meant the world to her. She is preceded in death by her parents, Loveless and Anna Gaudet, Jr.; nephew Kyle Blanchard and her godfather, Willie Comeaux. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 from 6pm until 10pm at Ourso Funeral Home in Pierre Part and will resume on Thursday, November 15, 2018 from 7am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11am at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church. Burial to follow in church cemetery.
