Ronald J. Huguet Jr.

September 24, 1951 - April 19, 2012. An avid outdoorsman and longtime resident of Pierre Part, died at 1:20 P.M. Thursday, April 19, 2012 in Houma after a 6+ year battle with cancer. He was 60 years old and a native of Baton Rouge. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Beulah Sedotal Huguet; two daughters and spouses Krystal and Stacy Gravois of White Castle and Nicole and Michael LeBlanc of Belle Rose; a son Nolan Huguet of Pierre Part; two granddaughters Ashleigh LeBlanc and Alicia Gravois. He is also survived by his parents Ronald Joseph, Sr. and Fay Wright Huguet of Bayou Pigeon; four sisters and spouses Diane and Mickey Watson of Jarreau, Jenny and Riley Frioux of Bayou Pigeon, Ruby and Craig Daigle, Sr. of Bayou Pigeon and Cindy and Ray Cruse of Amite; one brother Michael Huguet, Sr. of Bayou Pigeon; father-in-law Lester Sedotal of Belle Rose; sister-in-law Lucy Richard of Belle River; brother-in-law and spouse Ernest and Casey Sedotal of Pierre Part; godmother Jeanine Huguet Laster of Townley, AL; aunt and spouse Lily May and Alvin Fairchild, Sr. of St. Gabriel; uncle and spouse Louis and Jean Wright of St. Amant as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Nolan and Genevieve Daigre Huguet; maternal grandparents Roy and Lily Becnel Wright; godfather Roy Joseph Wright; uncle James Laster; aunt Barbara Teston Wright, and mother-in-law Anita Hebert Sedotal. Pallbearers will be his brother Michael Huguet, Sr., sons-in-law Michael LeBlanc and Stacy Gravois, godsons Brent Richard, Shane Sedotal, Michael Huguet, Jr. and Duane Wallace. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 22, 2012 at Ourso Funeral Home in Pierre Part from 5:00 P.M. - 10:00 P.M. and Monday, April 23, 2012 from 8:00 A.M. - 10:45 A.M. Mass of Christian Burial to follow at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Pierre Part at 11:00 A.M. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Belle River.
