

Ronnie Joseph Mabile Sr. was entrusted into God's care surrounded by family and friends on Wednesday, April 7, 2010. A retired pipe fitter and welder with Local 198, he was an avid hunter and fisherman, an excellent cook and a great dancer. He is survived by his mother, Elizabeth Mabile St. Germain; three daughters, Melissa Veillion, Cynthia Thibodeaux and fiancé Brent Theriot, and Jade Mabile and fiancé Bryan Guillot; son, Ronnie Mabile Jr. and wife Reneé; sister, Betty Mabile; brother, Booster Breaux and wife Jeanette; sister-in-law, Mildred St. Germain; six grandchildren, Lacey and Cody Veillion, Blake and Blaine Thibodeaux, and Nicholas and Noah Guillot; two great-grandchildren, Landon Veillion and Morgan Franklin; godchild, Stephanie Mabile Sedotal; numerous nieces and nephews; and his beloved "side kick," Zena. He was preceded in death by his brother, Wilson "Butch" St. Germain; stepfather, Sabin Breaux; granddaughter, Krista Veillion; maternal grandparents, Luke and Annie Guillot Mabile; and stepgrandfather, Wilson Blanchard. Visitation at Ourso Funeral Home in Pierre Part on Thursday, April 8, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visitation resumes at the funeral home Friday from 8 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Pierre Part at 10 a.m. Interment in the church cemetery.
