

Rosalind was a devoted wife, mother, granny, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. A woman of deep faith, she was a proud and devout Catholic, finding great joy and strength as a longtime parishioner of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church.
Family was the center of Rosalind’s world. She cherished every moment spent with her loved ones. Her warmth and care extended far beyond her home as well, Rosalind dedicated thirty years to teaching at Pierre Part Primary, where she touched countless young lives with her kindness, patience, and wisdom.
In her free time, Rosalind enjoyed traveling and shopping, always finding joy in life’s little adventures.
Her legacy of love, faith, and service will live on in all who knew her.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of fifty-four years, Gerald Theriot; three children, Carmen Allen (Chris), Dr. John Theriot (Jeannie) and Mark Theriot (Nicole); six grandchildren, Alyssa Landry (Cade), Lauren Allen (Alec), Karrigan Migues, Colin Theriot, Cameron Migues and Londyn Theriot; two great grandchildren, Sutton and Kayce Landry; one brother, Roland “PeeWee” Dias, Jr. (Lorraine) and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Roland and Heloise Dias; father and mother-in-law, Ned and Verniese Theriot; one sister-in-law, Teresa Hebert Dias; one nephew, Joey Dias and one great niece, Maggie Dias.
Pallbearers will be John Theriot, Mark Theriot, Chris Allen, Colin Theriot, Cameron Migues, Roland “Polie” Dias and Michael Dias. Honorary Pallbearers will be Hudson Dias, Owen Dias, Ryder Dias, Cade Landry, and Alec Louque.
The family would like to thank the entire staff at Our Lady of the Lake, Pinnacle Hospice, Metropolitan Dialysis Center in Morgan City and the Pierre Part First Responders for their exceptional care and compassion throughout their time of need.
A visitation will be held at Ourso Funeral Home in Pierre Part, LA on Monday, August 25, 2025, from 5pm until 9pm and will resume on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, from 8am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11am at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church. Interment will be at the church mausoleum.
