Selma Marie Landry

A mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, homemaker and seamstress, she was a native of Belle River and resident of Pierre Part. She passed away Friday, Oct. 29, 2010, in Morgan City at the age of 94. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, U.J. and Emilda Landry, Harry and Dienna Landry, Harvey and Anna Lynn Landry, Lee James and Kathy Landry, and Raleigh and Elaine Landry; 13 grandchildren, Kenneth Landry, Wayne Landry, Kevin Landry, Chad Landry, Cheri Blanchard, Tori Troxclair, Harvey Landry Jr., Todd Landry, Craig Landry, Kip Landry, Rhea Blanchard, Shane Landry and Jill Moneypenny; 24 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Celine Templet and Justilien Templet. She was preceded in death by her husband, Benoit Landry; parents, Albert and Alida Michel Pipsair; and a brother, Arcement Pipsair. There will be a visitation at Ourso Funeral Home, Pierre Part, on Monday, Nov. 1, from 10 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, Pierre Part, at 2 p.m., with the Rev.
