I can’t believe it’s almost been a year. I never could say much before. It’s been tough. I miss you more than more than words can describe. You would be so proud of me right now with the changes I’ve made. You make me strong everyday. I am who I am because of you and I will always cherish that. My other dad whom I love so much. I love you so much and I thank you truly for making me a strong woman with the work ethic I will have for the rest of my life.  Miley girl is great! And now she has a duck toy and loves it so much! Please continue to watch over us.

Sue, I am so sorry to hear this sad news of Vic's passing. You and your family are in my prayers.

So sorry to hear about Vic, prayers for Sue and family. Will always remember his stopping and sharing talk and stories when he walked Miley by the camp. God bless. 

I only knew Vic 3 short years. But it was so nice to see my brother on Thursday evening sitting on the porch by the bayou taking the edge off of the day 😍. "hey Lance what did you catch". And then a little recap of his day.  He was  a great guy, of course now I so regret not taking him up on a duck hunt invite. But here's to the guy who lives his dream 🍸. And I think Vic did 💖

Victor was a fraternity brother of mine at UNO in the mid to late 70"s. What a great guy.  Always had a big smile on his face and a welcoming  hello!! Spent my greatest spring break ever with Victor, Kenny Gordon, Steve Martin and Bubby Rau (De La Salle buddies of his). Thanks for the memories Victor. Way to young!!!! Love you brother!!

I'm sorry to hear of Mr. Vic's passing. He was a very nice person. I only knew him when they had the snowball stand in Belle River. Every time I went, we would talk about fishing. He reminded me of my dad and his love for fishing.  My condolences to Mrs. Susie and they rest of the family. 

First met Victor at Fat Harry’s way back when.  Very easy going and engaged in the business.  Years later at Tarpon Joes he and your mom were a great team.  Jim Hunter would love to take us to lunch there to see what Susie would cook up.  
So sorry for your loss my friend.

To the entire Laborde Family WE are so sorry for your loss. Vic was truly a great guy and great friend to many of us.
Where to start with the memories is easy
In his Dads den  shooting the moving bear on the coolest machine WE had ever seen at the time. He was pretty good at Frostop  pinball too. When he would take me to the DLS baseball games after  school,the ZZ Top Concert, Tulane football games, When he took US fishing numerous numerous times, When he took US camping and taught us all the tricks of camping, When he kept me under his wing in college even though I was not in the "Fraternity" . When we had a few 😉cocktails at Fat Harry's 
It's hard to remember them all but you get the idea. He was lots of fun to hang with going way back to the early days of OUR lives 

Growing up with Vic was a lot more fun for ALL of US .

Just last month I was with Hammer or Jubi  and they said  "Let's go visit Vic in Pierre Part so he can guide us to the fish. 

We all loved you and will truly miss you Vic

I first learned the sad news about my old friend and fraternity brother, “Wicked” Vic on Sunday. Then, I sent out an email to a group of old PKT’s who still get together via a fantasy football league. Every reply that came back read what a “great guy”. 

I thought back to our UNO days and the years after when I would see Vic at Fat Harry’s. Or even later at Tarpon Joe’s. I can’t remember ever seeing Vic in a foul mood. I’m sure he had those times but I never saw it. He always had a smile to greet you with, along with a “How ya’ doing, Brother?” handshake. 

Truly a great guy … unless you were a fish! Vic stuck it to a lot of fish. And he wasn’t very nice to ducks, either.
 
Great guy. Great outdoorsman. A life well lived. Not a bad way to be remembered.

Vic was such a great guy to be with.  One of the original Thunder Chickens for PKT. He will be truly missed.
