She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and friend. Yvonne was a devout Catholic who cherished her faith. She was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church where she served as a Eucharistic Minister and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary. Yvonne had a passion for her family, cooking and taking care of others in need. She was well known for her cracker pudding and won two blue ribbons.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her two daughters, Doreen B. Blanchard (Wayne) and Dolores B. Dallas; eight grandchildren, Renee Blanchard, Courtney Dencausse (Joshua), Wayne "Beanie" Blanchard (Claire), Danielle Sparks, Erin Breaux, Drew Sparks, Dylan Breaux, and Joshua Breaux; seven great grandchildren, Noah Gaudet, Ty Guillot, Christian Dencausse, Anna Dencausse, Skye Cedotal, Summer Mcdowell, and Layne Blanchard; one daughter-in-law, Wanda Breaux and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Earans J. Breaux Sr.; one son, Earans "Noonie" Breaux Jr.; parents, Kennedy and Idia Breaux; fifteen siblings, Georgina Coupel, Martha Aucoin, Ester Blanchard, Agatha Mouton, Theresa Martinez, Alford Breaux, Eddie Breaux, Theo Breaux, Ivy Breaux, Cleveland Breaux, Clines Breaux, Norbert Breaux, Moise Breaux, Raymond Breaux, and Roy Breaux and one son-in-law, Pete Dallas.
A visitation will be held at Ourso Funeral Home in Pierre Part on Friday, November 19, 2021 from 8am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11am at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church with interment to follow in the church mausoleum.
