Amin (James) Ary Neto, father, leader and patriarch during his life was an amazing man. Amin always gave his family the best example of life possible as a provider, and father and always strove to do the right thing.He was born in his beloved city of Fortaleza , Ceara, Brazil. Son of Wadih and Pearl Abusauder Ary. He born into a child’s dream of beaches, swimming and tropical paradise. He grew up in São Paulo, Brazil, went to college at Purdue University in Lafayette,Indiana where he met his love and life partner Valerie Miller. Amin obtained joint degrees in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering having arrived in the US without a working knowledge of the English language. He was a founder and captain of the Purdue Soccer Club. After marriage in Richmond, Indiana, Amin and Valerie lived in Brazil, the US, Mexico, and finally Florida. They had four children, Rick, Mark, Kathleen and Douglas. Amin was an executive at the highest level for Perfect Circle, Dana Corporation, TRW, and Emerson Electric/ASCO. He prided himself in building companies that were fair to his employees and in the last company, Ascoval, offered profit-sharing to all employees. His greatest friendships were forged during his social service work as a Rotarian and the YMCA(ACM) in Brazil. Spiritually, he was a leader at various churches including the Fellowship Church of Sao Paulo, Brazil and several churches of Boca Raton. Amin was the President of the Purdue Alumni Association in Brazil and donated generously to his Alma Mater. He is survived by his dedicated wife of 67 years, Valerie Miller Ary, son Rick (Jeannine), son Mark (Mara), daughter Kathleen (Don) and grandchildren Natassia, Matthew, David, Christian, Andrea, Nicole and Briana. He was predeceased by son Douglas and grandsons Alex and Andre. Amin was extremely proud of being a dual citizen. He was respected and loved by his extended family in Brazil as well as friends from all around the world.
