Cameron Michael Brennan of Coconut Creek, Florida, age 26, passed away suddenly on September 5, 2018. Cameron is survived by his parents, James and Linda Brennan, brother Colin Brennan and his wife, Shana and nephew William, his brother Ishmael Halliday and nieces Lucy and Amanda. He is also survived by his dear friends who surrounded and supported him for many years and are truly part of his extended family. Cam also leaves behind several aunts, uncles and cousins from both the United States and Canada, who traveled far and wide to celebrate his life.
Cam grew up in Scituate, Massachusetts and moved to Florida six years ago. At an early age he was exposed to the warmth and beauty of the tropics and never wanted to leave. He worked as a sales associate for a water sports company in Fort Lauderdale , but his true calling was as a fisherman and avid boater. To anyone who knew him, Cameron was the most passionate fisherman in existence. He found peace and comfort from being on or by the water fishing - both day and night. Cameron’s lifelong obsession for fishing was, as his friend best put “the only thing he truly had patience for”. Cameron made fishing an art form. People from all over would call him for advice, talk shop, or see what baits were working best that season. Cameron also was a talented hockey player, scuba diver, and had musical gifts.
The world is a little smaller today, as we mourn the loss of a truly amazing spirit. He always made time for friends or family who needed him for love and support. His laughter, smile, and keen sense of humor will be dearly missed. Cameron Michael Brennan may have passed away on September 5th 2018, but his joy for life and his connection to the people he touched will live on with every sunrise over the ocean, every breaking wave and every breeze through the palm trees on the beach.
