Carmen Derosa Geggus

Nascida na cidade de São Paulo (Brasil) em 29 de setembro de 1939. Ainda muito jovem se mudou com a família para Suzano, cidade do interior de São Paulo.

Seu primeiro emprego foi no banco Bradesco, onde era a única mulher que trabalhava lá na época. Frente ao seu tempo, Carmen sempre buscou independência.

No início da década de 60, conheceu o alemão Willi Geggus, com o qual em 04 de março de 1961 se casaram.

Dessa união, nasceram Petra Luise Geggus, Anne Rose Geggus, Mônica Cristina Geggus (in memorian), Karin Simone Geggus e Fernanda Paloma Geggus.

Suas quatro filhas lhe deram cinco netos: Karen Christine Manotas, Willi Geggus Galvão Freire, Giulia Geggus Silva, Ana Clara Geggus Silva e Luisa Geggus Barbaris.

Dedicou grande parte de sua vida profissional no hospital Santa Casa de Suzano.

Em 1999, decidiu viver o sonho americano e se mudou para os EUA. Trabalhou ACTS Retirement por quase 15 anos.

Ela se aposentou aqui nos EUA no ano de 2014.

Carmen, uma mulher íntegra, iluminada e guerreira. Que deixou muitas coisas boas por onde passou.

Animada, alto astral, sensível, generosa, carinhosa, e muitos mais adjetivos que seria impossível descrever todos.

Ela partiu, e o que ficou foi a saudade e as lembranças.

Resumed Biography of Carmen’s Life

Carmen Derosa Geggus

Born in the city of Sao Paulo, Brasil on the 29th day of September in 1939. Still young, she moved with her family to Suzano, a city in the interior of the state of Sao Paulo. Her first job was remarbly at Bradesco Bank as she was the only woman who worked a job like this at her branch. Throughout her time, Carmen always seeked independence.

In the beginning of the 60s, she encountered and met the German man named Willi Geggus—married on the 4th of March in 1961. In this marriage unity, five beautiful daughters were brought into this world: Petra Luise Geggus, Anne Rose Geggus, Monica Cristina Geggus (In Memorian), Karin Simone Geggus, e Fernanda Paloma Geggus. Her four beautiful daughters gave birth to five unique and loving grandchildren: Karen Christine Manotas, Willi Geggus Galvao Freire, Giulia Geggus Silva, Ana Clara Geggus Silva, e Luisa Geggus Barbaris.

She dedicated a great part of her professional life to the hospital named Santa Casa de Suzano. In 1999, she decided to live the American dream by moving to the U.S. She happily worked at ACTS Retirement for 15 years. In 2014, she painfully retired and spent the rest of her days by her family. Carmen, an honest, whole, extraordinarily happy, illuminating, and determined individual left her mark on this world. Animated, optimistic, sensitive, kind, and caring and many other adjectives, Carmen left her legacy and an example that is amazingly close to perfect.

She passed, but what she left was numerous memories.
