In loving memory of our wonderful, handsome and funny son, David Arnold Poltrock who was taken from us on October 1st, 2014. On December 12th, 1984, we were blessed with the birth of our first son, David Arnold Poltrock. Born in Margate, Florida. Later moved to the Boca area. David went to Coral Sunset Elementary, Loggers Run Middle School and Spanish River High. David graduated Spanish River High in 2003. David worked locally in the Boca area in the restaurant business. He is survived by his mother, Tina Poltrock, his father, Craig Arnold Poltrock, his 4 sisters: Lisa Poltrock (nieces Autumn and Summer), Ashley Poltrock, Kristina Yang (Frank Yang, nieces Katherine and Kaylie), Michelle Wilson, his 2 brothers, Jonathan Poltrock and Craig Poltrock. Also his grandmother Josephine Kohnert along with 11 aunts, 8 uncles, and 20 cousins. Also in his life were some very special people, Johnnie Young, John Mamo, Jeff Hoffman, Shannon O’Boy, Irish Muldowney, Brian Currier, Samantha Theresa and all of his beautiful family at Duffy’s Coconut Creek and Bru’s Room Coconut Creek. Our love will continue forever; you will never be forgotten.
David brought much joy to everyones life that he came in contact with. He was a wonderful son, a great brother, a proud uncle and a very funny and caring friend. He always had a way of putting a smile on your face even if his day was rough. We will miss his beautiful smile and his unexpected antics that happened everyday. He was a man who loved life and made sure that everyone around him did too. As parents we have been blessed to meet and talk to most of his friends this week. It makes be happy to know that his life has been truly a happy journey, his circle of friends are the most loving and caring group, and it comforts me to know that he lived each moment to the fullest. David will be deeply missed by everyone that knew him, but the memories that he left us with will continue to bring us comfort and will allow us to keep his memory alive by sharing his life stories with others We all had a beautiful part of our life ripped from us in such a senseless and careless way. We ask that you realize how dangerous texting and driving is. David’s life was taken from us because someone was too carless to put down their phone.
