ROTHMAN, Edward J. 81 of Pompano Beach passed away September 5, 2010. He was born November 7, 1928 in Pittsburgh, PA to Alex & Celia Schneier Rothman. He served in the US Army from March 21, 1951 – April 3, 1957. A resident of Florida since 1980. He was a General Contractor and after he retired he enjoyed playing poker with his friends at the Isle Casino. Pre-deceased by his wife Grace, brother Bernard Rothman and his sister Jean Chirsan. Survived by his loving daughter Barbara (Bobbi) Durkee, his cousin Estelle Maretsky DeMare, nieces and nephews, Allen, Cary, Edward & Michele Rothman, Shelley Adler, Greg, Cindy and Randy Chirsan. Services will be at So. Florida Nat’l Cemetery, Lake Worth, FL to be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation. KRAEER FUNERAL HOME 1199 E.
