Edward Szlyk

Dr. Edward 79 of Lighthouse Point, FL passed away November 16, 2017. Beloved husband of Janice. Cherished father of Maggie (Randy) Schlegel and Michael (Jackie) Germaine and Timothy Szlyk (Robert Di Santo). Brother of Dorothy (Roland "Joe") Perron. Grandfather of Jacob, Jonathan, & Justin. Great-grandfather and beloved uncle to many. Stepfather of 2 and 5 step-grandchildren. He graduated from North High School in Worcester class of 1957 then attended Assumption College in Worcester where he was the first student accepted into Dental School after only 3 years of undergraduate. He attended Georgetown University Dental School graduated in 1964. He entered the Navy and was trained in General Anesthesia at Bethesda Naval Hospital. In 1966 he began his Dental practice in Webster, MA and moved to Village Street Dudley in 1971. He retired in 1999 and moved to Florida with his wife Janice. He was an avid reader and loved the New England Patriots and the Boston Red Sox. The arrangements in Massachusetts will be announced at a later date. Arrangements under the direction of Kraeer Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pompano Beach, FL.
