Heartfelt sympathy to Helen's family and her colleagues at the Leo Goodwin Foundation. She was quite an amazing woman. Philanthropy in our community has lost a champion! Rest in peace, dear Helen.

My deepest sympathies to the family. I always enjoyed visiting with Helen over the years in relation to her work with Leo Goodwin Foundation and mine with SOS Children's Village. I will treasure the e-mail I got from her earlier this month.  Such a special lady who truly cared about her community.  We will miss her.

Helen was a kind and caring person. She was so proud of the charitable work she and her fellow trustees were able to achieve through the Leo Goodwin Foundation. She loved her girls at PACE, and all the children they were able to help. We lost a dear friend and community advocate, but we know her passion to help others will live on. God bless your beautiful soul, Helen. We'll miss you.

Helen was one of those rare amazing human beings.  I feel blessed just knowing her.  She was always so happy to talk about Sawyer and the twins and to show me their latest pictures.  Her presence is already greatly missed, but she will never be forgotten.

Helen was the light in a dark day. She was so proud of her family and her life. Our office will not be the same without her.

My deepest sympathies to the Furia family, I lost a great boss and teacher in Helen, I will miss her warmth, her joy and her smile.  She truly epitomizes a lady
Her gift to me was giving me the liberty to function in my job here at the Leo Goodwin Foundation and to gently guide me in the right direction. I have learnt a lot from her and will continue to be inspired to always do my best.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends. We will surely miss her at the office.
