I was so sorry to hear of your loss. I've known John since 93.  He was a co-worker but more importantly a friend.  I will miss you John.

My time with John while stationed at Dyess, revealed that he was a professional, trustworthy, and someone you could count on repeatedly and without question.  Crotchety at times, sure—but that was John.  He never failed to have a good story to tell.  He always found a way to make something positive happen in spite of odds to the contrary. This world loses another exceptional person, veteran, and all around nice guy. If heaven has bowling alley—I know I'll see ya there! Godspeed John!

John was the epitome of a grumpy old man - that is until you got to know him and realized that he was a real softy inside and had a heart of gold. I met him in 2001 and will never forget him.  I will miss you, John

John was a good friend for over 20 years.  We kept in touch even after my move to Washington State over 4 years ago.  I looked forward to my annual visit to Abilene, which always included time with John.  I will miss that.  I love and miss you, dear friend.

So sorry for your loss - I worked with John at Dyess AFB Testing Section for a number of years and he was a good friend.  We had a little joke that he was a old man (he was from Oct to Mar older than me) and I was just a spring chicken.  I miss you John and will see you soon.
