My deepest condolences Carolyn, John and Joanne to you and your family. I moved into HIH 3 years ago. Joe and Carolyn were my first friends here. Joe served on the board of directors for many years. He was passionate and dedicated to the improvement and success of our building, as he truly loved this place and will be missed, but never forgotten. Joe was one of the nicest, kindest, gracious, most generous men I ever met. Just one example of Joe's kindness and generosity; about 2 years ago I noticed he wasn't using his bike anymore. I asked him if he would like to sell it. He said not at that time. One day a few months ago, he called me to come up to his unit. He said I'm not going to use my bike anymore and I want you to have it. There are so many more examples of his kindness and generosity I could share, but only 2000 characters to use here. I will think of you Joe every time I ride that bike. I was blessed and honored to have you as my friend for a brief 3 years. RIP Joe.

So I looked up the word Reliable on Wikileaks. Joe Germano’s picture was there. Semper Paratus.

Joe Germano was always there with a smile, cared about all of his extended family and welcomed one and all to his home. A very humorous memory was when our family was visiting and our young son decided to share Trixie’s dinner. Joe banished the dog from dinner until our son was safely in bed.
May you find peace in your heavenly home. We will miss you.

I have wonderful memories of Uncle Joe, and even some pictures as well. Whether he was playing the drums, just sitting around telling funny stories, he was always quick with a smile. He will be missed as he walks among the angels.
