Larson, Lillian Connick , 80, of Pompano Beach, FL, passed away at home May 5, 2012. Lillian was born and raised in Washington, D.C., and in 1953, after meeting Edward at the USO, Lafayette Square Club, married and moved to Illinois. In 1977, Lillian and her only child, Robin, moved to Florida and settled in Pompano Beach. Lillian worked at Bellsouth, retiring in 2000 after two decades of service. Lillian devoted her time to several civic activities including the Pompano Beach Highlands Civic Improvement Association, the Highlands Neighborhood Watch and the North Broward Citizens Action Group. Lillian was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Pompano Beach Chapter #187. Lillian is survived by her daughter, Robin and cousins, Julia Drance and Mary Ellen Josephson (RADM John V. Josephson USN (Ret.)). Lillian also leaves behind several good friends and neighbors, as well as her two dogs, Benji and Mollie, and her cat Bandit. Friends will be received at Kraeer Funeral Home 1199 East Sample Road in Pompano Beach, on Friday, May 11th beginning at 6 pm, followed by a memorial service at 7 pm.
