Dear Hourigan Family,
It's been only a few days since Fr. Michael has been laid to rest. One of the things that we really appreciated about Fr. Michael was his practice of sitting after the gospel & Communion, allowing a few minutes of reflection. Though we've been privileged to have served on several ministries at St. Paul's, we wish we had gotten to know him better. Had we known Father played the fiddle, I would have loved to have perhaps fiddled a reel or air with him. He did say that he liked to hear James Galway enough to go to his concert last year.
We will truly miss him and are thankful that he touched our lives.
