Sieloff, Nancy E., 93 of Pompano Beach, FL suddenly passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2024, in Hospice Care at Holy Cross Hospital after a brief illness. Nancy was born July 3, 1931, in Oshkosh, WI. Nancy was predominantly raised by her loving grandfather Samuel Henjum of Freemont, WI and grandmother Amy Welch of Oshkosh, WI.
She was preceded by her loving husband of 60 years George W. Sieloff on July 2010, and her beloved son Dennis S. Sieloff on August 2020 and other family members.
She is survived by her younger brother Lewis (Mary) Knapp of Nampo, ID, daughter Patricia (Dennis) Lange of Stoughton, WI, daughter Priscilla (Willard deceased ) Burau of Oak Park, IL, son Daniel (Martin Boschini) Sieloff, Ft Lauderdale, FL, son David (Cynthia) Sieloff of Madison, WI, daughter-in-law Tammy (Dennis deceased) Sieloff of Wellington, FL.
She was also blessed with several grandchildren including Nathan (Alex Koerner) Burau of Chicago, IL, Jennifer (Jake) Czajka of North Riverside, IL, Alison Lange of Madison, WI, Samuel Sieloff of Huntersville, NC and Trina Oliver of Wellington, FL. Great-grandchildren including Addison and Logan Czajka of North Riverside, IL and Aden and Ethan Oliver of Wellington, FL.
As many of you know, Nancy was a tiny woman with a huge heart who had unconditional love for her family and friends. She was a wonderful mother, incredible grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to everyone who crossed her path. Nancy, along with her beloved husband George, raised a great family with a mixture of chaos and love. After George’s passing in 2010, Nancy surprised everyone with how much courage, strength, love and faith she displayed as the ‘matriarch’ of the Sieloff family.
Nancy and her husband George were devoted members of the Pink Church, Pompano Beach, Fl. Although Nancy was not a traditional sports fan, she was a ‘Super Fan’ of her beloved ‘Team Sieloff.’ She taught us to live life following her ‘Three Fs’ – Faith, Family and Friends and her loss will be greatly felt by family and friends alike.
When Nancy required a little more help and care around her house the past couple of years, each of her children worked out rotating schedules for extended visits. Despite dealing with on-going age-related health issues, she never complained and always put others first. While Nancy often mentioned how blessed she was to have her children’s visits, in reality her children were equally blessed to spend quality time with their mother creating lifelong memories and untold family stories that we will never forget.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 26 at 10:00 am in the Chapel at the Pink Church, 2331 NE 26th Avenue, Pompano Beach, FL., immediately followed by a Reception in the Sanctuary. The family would like to give their heartfelt thanks to Nancy’s Holy Cross Hospital medical and hospice care teams that provided her with compassionate care while Nancy transitioned to her eternal life. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to the American Cancer Society (https://donate.cancer.org/) in memory of Nancy Sieloff.
“You left us beautiful memories, your love is still our guide. Although we cannot see you, you're always at our side.”
