Samuel Dean Simmons age 76, of Hollywood, Florida passed away on Monday June 13, 2022 at Memorial Hospital in Hollywood, Florida. He was born September 18, 1945 in Lexington, North Carolina to Luther and Rose (Sneed) Simmons.
Sam is survived by his son, Brett Simmons, and two step-daughters, Lisa Pallares and Heather Nadler. Along with his children, Sam also had seven grandchildren - Nicole, Ryan, Chloe, Tyler, Samantha, Colby, and Carson, and one great-grandchild - Kai.
Sam was preceded in death by his wife Janice Simmons. They lived life on their own terms and enjoyed it to the fullest, making friends everywhere they went. Sam will be deeply missed by everyone that knew him.
Sam’s wishes are to be cremated and interred along side his wife Janice with no formal services. Cremation is in the care of Kraeer Funeral Home.
