Alex was born on September 17, 2008, in Newton, New Jersey to Thanh Nguyen Truong and Johnny Truong. He was a member of the Catholic Faith who loved to play on his I-Pad, watch YouTube and play with his Transformer toys and watching them on TV and especially at the movie theatre. Alex was loved very dearly by his family and they loved him very much and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Survivors include his loving parents, Johnny and Thanh Truong of Vernon, New Jersey; brother, Kennedy Truong of Vernon, New Jersey; grandparents, Janet Nguyen of Houston, Texas; Khau and Nhi Nguyen of Port Arthur and Jerry and Rosa Roettger of Vernon, New Jersey; numerous nieces and nephews; cousins; uncles and aunts; friends and acquaintances who cared for Alex very much.
Visitation will take place from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, January 9, 2020, and Friday, January 10, 2020, at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home in Port Arthur. A Rosary and Prayer Service will be conducted on Friday at 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 11, 2020, at Queen of Vietnam Catholic Church in Port Arthur with burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves, Texas.
