Alice V. Dumesnil Rickard, the Port Arthur beautiful woman, passed away at St. Mary’s Hospital on December 31, 2012. She was the 1965 CavOilcade Queen and the 1966 Astrodome Queen and retired as a counselor from the TX. Dept. of Criminal Justice.
Alice was survived by her husband, Wayne Rickard, her seven children, Guillermo Carvajal, Jose Carvajal, Debora Martinez, Alicia Rodriguez, Virginia Espinola, Mariquita Rojas, Cristina Carvajal, her 19 grandchildren, and 2 great- grandchildren.
Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, January 7, 2013 at 10:00 AM in the chapel of Grammier Oberle Funeral Home . . Interment will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park and her burial on Monday January 7, 2013 at 10am. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 6, 2013 from 5-7 PM followed by a resuscitation of the rosary at 7:00 PM at Grammier Oberle.
