Angela graduated from Thomas Jefferson in 1980 and was a beautiful, spunky cheerleader. She enjoyed all things fitness and loved to travel - Las Vegas and Hawaii were two of her favorites. She gathered clown figures from all her destinations, growing into people bringing her clowns and building an extraordinary collection! She adored her nieces and nephews as if they were her own children.
Through her example and her life, they learned and grew to be compassionate adults. She went from high school straight to work at Price & Co. for nine years and loved her job in administration. She was vivacious, loved life, and her smile would light up the room. All who knew her knew there was no greater musician than George Straight. Listening to his voice soothed her soul.
Her world changed when she became ill in 1989. Never have you seen such a strong-willed person with a spirit that endured what has been a long 34-year journey. Though every parent loves their children, her mother and father adored her, and their care for her was a force to be reckoned with.
Her family would like to thank her many sitters and all of the nurses and staff at Magnolia Manor and Bonne Vie.
She is preceded in death by her parents Liola and Howard Simon. She is survived by her siblings, Candace (Mike) Beard, Anna (Larry) LeBouef, Judson Simon, Juliana (Alan) Stringer, and Robert (Ashlyn) Simon. She also leaves behind her nieces and nephews, Glory Loxterman, Michael Loxterman, James Loxterman, Anastasia Loxterman, Lani Harkey, Keely Simon, Renee Goodwin, Lance Savell, Casey Savell and Travis Savell.
The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM until the service hour at 2:30 PM of Tuesday, November 21, 2023, in the Chapel of Grammier Oberle Funeral Home. Angela will be Laid to Rest at Greenlawn Memorial Park
