Angeline Louise Lieb, 69, of Port Arthur, Texas, passed away Monday, July 11, 2011, to return home to her Father in Heaven. She was born on January 19, 1942 in Long Beach, California to the late Louis and Myrtle Ricca. She was a beloved wife, amazing mother and best friend. She was known to many for her devotion and compassion. She could be described as a person who never met a stranger and a person who many felt they knew for a long time. Her children served as her greatest joy and she was a devoted mother. “Anna” was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Port Arthur and was strong in her faith, always reaching out to others.
A Celebration of her life will take place at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at 11:00 a.m., Saturday July 16, 2011, 3939 Turtle Creek Drive, Port Arthur, with burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves, under the direction of Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home, 4841 39th St., Port Arthur.
A gathering of her family and friends will be Friday, July 15, 2011, from 5:00p.m. till 8:00p.m. at Grammier- Oberle Funeral Home.
Anna was preceded in death by her Grandparents, Carlo Pastorella and Annie Cuccia, her parents, and her brother Michael L. Ricca.
She is survived by the love of her life, William Lieb of Port Arthur; 3 sons, Joseph Floyd Dalfrey, Jr. and his wife, Deeva, of Coolidge, Arizona, Alvin Dalfrey and wife Julie of Lagrange, GA, James Dalfrey of Denver, Colorado, one daughter Jan Skousen and husband Jeff of Mesa Arizona, and 9 grandchildren who kept her smiling.
