Anna C Miguez

Anna was born on September 14, 1940, in Beaumont, Texas to Robert A. Gilstrap and Lois L Bankston Gilstrap. Anna was a retired server with Luby’s Cafeteria at Central Mall for over ten years and was a member of Memorial Church of Christ. She loved to shop and get pedicures but mainly loved her family and especially grandbabies and great grandbabies who she spoiled and bragged on endlessly.

Survivors include her daughter, Marilyn Miguez Martindale of Port Acres, Texas; sons, John L. Miguez and wife Tamara of Bullard Texas and Harlan Miguez and wife Allison of Hallsville Texas; daughter-in-law, Wanda Burrow of Groves; grandchildren, Mylinda Burrow and wife Susan of Austin Texas, Heather Martindale of Port Arthur Texas, Lanedon Miguez of Arlington Texas, Lahanna Miguez Gwosdz and her husband Michael of Willis,Texas, Austin Miguez and Ally Miguez both of Hallsville Texas, Dewayne Lopez and wife Angela of Beaumont, Texas, Charlotte Richard and husband Russell of Groves, Texas, Kevin Stoever and wife Christina of Austin, Texas; great-grandchildren, Rylan Martindale, Aubrey Burrow, Mia Burrow, Atticus Burrow, Alex Richard, Blake Richard, Bella Stoever, Karmilla Stoever and Brenham Stoever.

Anna was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Delana M Chauvin and Dora Gene Shaddox; husband John M. Miguez; son Joe A Burrow, Sr.; grandson, Joe A Burrow Jr.

A visitation will take place from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Sunday, August, 23, 2020, at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home in Port Arthur. A Chapel Service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 24, 2020, at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home in Port Arthur. A private family burial will take place at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves, Texas.
